Downtown Collingwood's
Maple Leaf Hall.

The Maple Leaf Hall at 85 Hurontario Street in Historic Downtown Collingwood was built in 1886. The hall was a popular downtown meeting place, hosting dances, meetings and banquets. The Loyal Orange Lodge called Maple Leaf Hall home, as did the shipworkers union. The hall sat empty for a decade. The building was purchased by Richard and Anke Lex with a goal of reviving the structure inside and out. The two-level main floor has been beautifuly restored and now houses Clerkson's home decor store. Upstairs, restoration was completed in 2005. Maple Leaf Hall is now writing a new chapter as a part of Collingwood's arts community. The hall is now home to the Fishbowl Art Studio and the Bay School of Art.
